Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM of Friends of Whaley Bridge Station, held in the Buxton waiting room.. This is likely to be a short meeting as it is fundamentally to elect the officers for the group. That said, we welcome new members and supporters to give ideas on where we are travelling to over the coming years and what you think the group should focus on.
Santa will be joining the train through Whaley on 9th December, handing out goodies to all the children on board and leading the carols.

Friends of Whaley Bridge Station will be providing refreshments in the waiting room on the Buxton platform.
Historian Chris Makepeace's illustrated talk, tells the history of the Stockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge Railway at Furness Vale Community Centre on Tuesday 3rd October at 7.30pm.
Everybody is welcome. The doors open at 7pm and admission is £2. A licensed bar is available..
The Community Centre and Social Club is at 1 Yeardsley Lane SK23 7PN and is just behind the Imperial Restaurant.
